Many new website owners usually have trouble configuring their email accounts to work with Microsoft Outlook. Below is a procedure that should help make this process easier:
On Microsoft Outlook 2003,
1) Click Tools menu > Email Accounts > Add a new email account then click Next
2) Select POP3 then click Next
3) On the screen that appears, enter your account details as shown in the example below:

4) Click on More Settings
5) In the General Tab, enter your Email Name
6) In the Outgoing Server, check the button for My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication as show below:

7) In the Advanced tab, select the options as show below

8) (OPTIONAL NOTE: For Outgoing server, if you are having constant problems with sending mail in future, untick the Outgoing Server requires an encrypted connection and then use 25 0r 1081 for the PORT number instead of 465.)
9) Click OK, Next > Finish. Then Send / Receive your emails.
You should now be able to Send and Receive emails comfortably using Microsoft Outlook.
